Watson. This short story tells the story of two lovers who travel together, meeting and kissing along the way. In this case, the writer is trying to tell a romantic story.'Waking Up the Dead' is another humorous informal essay sample, though the style is a little different. Instead of a tale told with short sentences, it tells a story through a series of dreams. What happens to one character in one dream depends on what the character did in the previous dream, and the story continues until all of the characters return to the waking world.An essay sample entitled 'Tending the Garden' is written in the third person from the point of view of the narrator. The writer'choice of words, however, is very different from other examples of the informal essay. There is no metrical structure, and the paragraph is almost entirely a collage of short sentences and isolated words.Another humorous informal essay sample is 'Letters to a Friend,' written by Lauren ce Sterne, and read aloud by his friend Anne Pydney.
